Brand new Sanlorenzo SD126 ‘Darya’ was delivered last week to Iranian owners. The sale was finalized by Nick Gelevert, the third generation involved at the family business Lengers Yachts. It was a special transaction according to Nick: ‘I met the clients during the Monaco Yacht Show 2019. They were very interested and we immediately flew together to the shipyard in Viareggio, where there was one SD126 already under construction. Following intense discussions going deep into the night over 3 days, this sale was complete in less than 72 hours – a record for the shipyard for a yacht this size!’

Lengers Yachts has planned 5 deliveries of brand new Sanlorenzo yachts this month. Bas Lengers, CEO of the company, announced this today. This concerns the SL102Assymetric, the SL96Assymetric, the SD96, the SX88 and the SL78. These vessels will all be delivered to their first owners in June 2020.

This is the approach behind the company’s new models for 2020, making their seagoing debut this summer: the SX112 crossover yacht, presented in the first version with interior design by Piero Lissoni, and the 44Alloy and 62Steel superyachts.

A few days from the total reopening of its facilities, Sanlorenzo launched the first 44Alloy, the new fast displacement superyacht with a length of 44.5 meters, entirely in aluminium, making its official debut this year. Sanlorenzo returns to operation at full pace, entering the most intense period of the year with a crowded calendar of launches.

The organisers of the 2020 Cannes Yachting Festival, Europe’s largest in-water event, have confirmed that this year’s show will go ahead as planned from September 8-13. The news was confirmed today by Reed Expositions, whose staff have been working remotely to ensure the success of the show’s 43rd edition.
